Information on the website does not constitute a binding quote or guarantee unless expressly confirmed by Pipes Performance in writing.

3. QUOTES AND ESTIMATES

Website inquiries and quote requests are not final estimates or contracts.

Pricing may depend on factors including:

  • Vehicle year, make, model, engine, and trim
  • Vehicle condition
  • Existing modifications
  • Parts selected
  • Labour required
  • Custom fabrication requirements
  • Additional work discovered after inspection
  • Supplier pricing and availability

Where applicable, Pipes Performance will provide estimates and obtain authorization in accordance with Ontario law.

A final invoice will reflect authorized work performed and applicable taxes, parts, labour, materials, and other authorized charges.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection legislation.

4. APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are subject to availability.

We may request information about your vehicle before confirming an appointment, including:

  • Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • Engine or trim
  • Current modifications
  • Requested service
  • Photos or videos where relevant

Appointment times are estimates and may change depending on the nature of the work, vehicle condition, part availability, or unexpected issues discovered during service.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of material delays.

5. DEPOSITS

Certain services, custom fabrication work, special-order parts, or larger projects may require a deposit before work begins or before parts are ordered.

The amount and refundability of any deposit will be disclosed at the time of booking or purchase.

Deposits associated with special-order, custom-made, or specifically sourced products may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

Any applicable cancellation or refund terms will be communicated before payment is accepted.

6. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible.

Certain appointments may be subject to cancellation fees, deposit forfeiture, or rescheduling conditions where those terms have been disclosed to you in advance and are permitted by law.

Special-order parts or custom products may be subject to separate cancellation conditions.

7. AUTHORIZATION OF WORK

No material repair or service work will be performed without appropriate customer authorization where authorization is required by law.

If additional work is recommended after service has begun, we may contact you for approval before completing that additional work.

By authorizing work, you confirm that you have authority to authorize service on the vehicle.

8. VEHICLE CONDITION

You are responsible for informing Pipes Performance of any known issues, prior damage, unusual operating conditions, aftermarket modifications, tuning, electrical problems, or other vehicle conditions that may affect the requested service.

Existing damage or mechanical issues may affect:

  • Installation
  • Fitment
  • Performance
  • Exhaust sound
  • Tuning
  • Tint installation
  • Parts compatibility
  • Completion time

Pipes Performance is not responsible for pre-existing defects or conditions that were not caused by our work.

9. AFTERMARKET MODIFICATIONS

Automotive modifications may alter how a vehicle sounds, performs, drives, wears, or interacts with factory systems.

Depending on the modification, aftermarket parts or services may affect:

  • Manufacturer warranty coverage
  • Emissions compliance
  • Noise levels
  • Fuel economy
  • Ride characteristics
  • Vehicle diagnostics
  • Insurance coverage
  • Resale value
  • Component lifespan

Customers are responsible for determining whether a requested modification is appropriate for their intended vehicle use and for complying with applicable laws, insurance requirements, and manufacturer conditions.

Where appropriate, Pipes Performance may explain known considerations associated with a modification, but we do not provide legal, insurance, or manufacturer-warranty advice.

10. EXHAUST MODIFICATIONS

The sound produced by an exhaust modification varies significantly between vehicles.

Factors may include:

  • Engine configuration
  • Turbocharging or supercharging
  • Factory exhaust design
  • Downpipes
  • Headers
  • Catalytic converters
  • Resonators
  • Mufflers
  • Exhaust diameter
  • Existing aftermarket modifications

Any descriptions such as “refined,” “sport,” “aggressive,” “deep,” or “loud” are subjective.

Videos and sound clips are intended as examples only. Actual sound may differ depending on the vehicle, recording equipment, playback device, environment, and individual perception.

11. PERFORMANCE TUNING

Performance tuning results vary by vehicle, software, hardware, fuel quality, vehicle condition, existing modifications, environmental conditions, and other factors.

Any horsepower, torque, performance, fuel economy, or drivability figures discussed or displayed are estimates or examples unless expressly stated otherwise.

We do not guarantee that every vehicle will achieve the same performance result.

Customers must disclose all known relevant vehicle modifications before tuning.

12. WINDOW TINTING

Window-film appearance may vary depending on:

  • Glass type
  • Interior colour
  • Lighting
  • Viewing angle
  • Film selected

Newly installed film may temporarily show haze, moisture, or minor visual variations during the curing process.

Customers will be provided with appropriate aftercare instructions.

Customers are responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding permitted window tint levels and vehicle use.

13. PARTS AND PRODUCTS

Parts may be:

  • Original equipment manufacturer parts
  • Aftermarket parts
  • Customer-supplied parts
  • Special-order parts
  • Custom-fabricated components

Where required, the type of part being installed will be disclosed in accordance with applicable law.

Availability, lead times, pricing, and manufacturer specifications may change without notice.

14. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS

Pipes Performance may, at its discretion, agree to install customer-supplied parts.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing, Pipes Performance does not warrant the quality, compatibility, manufacturing, or performance of customer-supplied products.

We may decline to install a part that we believe is:

  • Unsafe
  • Damaged
  • Incompatible
  • Counterfeit
  • Incorrect for the vehicle
  • Unsuitable for the requested application

Any warranty relating to a customer-supplied product remains the responsibility of the product manufacturer or seller, subject to applicable law.

15. WARRANTIES

Pipes Performance will honour all warranties required under applicable law.

Ontario consumer-protection rules provide minimum warranty rights for certain vehicle repairs, including parts and labour. Nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce or exclude those rights.

Additional manufacturer or supplier warranties may also apply to certain products.

Warranty coverage does not generally extend to damage caused by:

  • Abuse or misuse
  • Accidents
  • Racing or competition use
  • Improper maintenance
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Subsequent work performed by another party
  • Failure of unrelated vehicle components

Any additional warranty terms specific to a service or product will be communicated separately.

16. PAYMENT

Payment is due according to the terms communicated at the time of service or purchase.

Accepted payment methods may vary by location or transaction.

Applicable taxes will be added where required.

Vehicles, products, or parts may not be released until amounts properly owing have been paid, subject to applicable law.

17. STORAGE AND UNCOLLECTED VEHICLES

If a completed vehicle is not collected within a reasonable period after the customer has been notified that it is ready, storage charges may apply where those charges have been disclosed and are permitted by law.

Any storage policy applicable to a particular service will be communicated when relevant.

18. PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND VEHICLE CONTENT

Pipes Performance may photograph or record vehicles and completed work for quality-control, documentation, portfolio, website, or social-media purposes.

Where a vehicle can reasonably be connected to identifiable personal information, we will handle that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

If you do not want your vehicle featured publicly, please let us know.
